(1/2009) Premier Book Awards writes, "a number of the books will be donated to charitable organizations such as America's Heroes of Freedom, which provides books to recovering military personnel and their families."

"'We got a lot of the wounded ready for the commander in chief's ball,' said Brewer, who explained that injured troops on medication or involved in grueling physical rehabilitation seem to enjoy a little special attention. 'It was a great morale boost.'"

Giving Circle of HOPE Newsletter
(4/2008) Page 2 of newsletter. "Giving Circle volunteers collected two baskets full of supplies and $163.00 for our troops at the Hunters Woods Safeway on March 22. The contributions were donated to America's Heroes of Freedom(AHOF), an organization that supports the wounded and their families. Susan Brewer, President of America's Heroes of Freedom comments, 'Items like this will come in handy when the hospital receives new Medevacs, who then report to 'MED HOLD' status to recover further.
