Home Donating Your Extra Miles Goes A Long Way For Our Troops Susan Brewer, President and Founder, America's Heroes of Freedom. Recently I've been asked by people more and more: "Can I donate my plane flight miles?" Yes!!! More than often we hear the heartfelt cry among troops and family members who wish to be together during the troops' recovery. Some families otherwise could not afford to be with their wounded family members. With your continual help, America's Heroes of Freedom has made a difference in the lives of some of these important men and women who have sworn to protect our Country. In some cases we have been able to not only fly family members in but to arrange for their lodgings near the military hospitals. I can't tell you the magnitude of impact this has on those healing - to have their loved ones by their hospital beds. In other cases we've been able to send troops home to be with their families during the Holiday Season. Fathers and mothers united with their sons and daughters. All this is possible because Americans have not forgotten and Americans care for their troops. America's Heroes of Freedom continues to provide, support and implement very much-needed supplies to our wounded and ill service members who return from Iraq and Afghanistan through the worthy project called Operation Life Line. This project has served many service members who arrive each month at various military hospitals for healing and rehabilitation.
