Operation Cinderella/Fella

Sections on this page:
Introduction

On Saturday, January 17, 2009, AHOF will again be assisting in getting our OIF/OEF combat wounded military and their spouses, family member, or significant other dressed for the official Commander in Chief Inaugural Ball. Operation Cinderella / Fella has been working around the clock to collect donated formal wear and accessories for over 1,000 expected to come to this tremendous night of honor. These are our heroes who are either still recovering in military hospitals or bases, or they have lost a brave warrior at theater. Our recovering warriors have many other obstacles that are being taken care of by our fine military hospitals - it just so happens that evening wear and military uniforms are not in close reach. America's Heroes of Freedom is honored as an organization and as Americans to be a part of helping them to quickly get fitted and pampered for this big event - and to feel great about how they look for this historic time in America. Our fine men and women have so willingly fought for and/or given their lives for many blessings and freedoms.
