Bringing Christmas to Wounded Troops at Walter Reed Army Medical Center

(12/15/04) Wounded soldiers recuperating at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center were greeted today by America's Heroes of Freedom staff with stockings filled with gifts and amenities. An average of 175 soldiers arrive at Walter Reed each month to begin rehabilitation for amputations as a result of wounds sustained in service in the war in Iraq.

America's Heroes of Freedom is a Not-for-profit (501c3) Organization that honors, heals and educates those who acted heroically, patriotically, and unselfishly such as our armed forces, civil servants, EMS (Emergency Medical Services, e.g. Fire, Police, Rescue), physicians, nurses, and all volunteers who serve daily in the protection of our freedom.
